People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in unhelpful patterns, navigating a difficult life transition, processing a traumatic experience, or simply looking to better understand yourself.
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If something has been affecting your well-being, relationships, work, or daily life, therapy can provide a supportive space to explore what's happening and develop meaningful strategies for change.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to help determine whether we're a good fit to work together.
During this conversation, we'll briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and I'll answer any questions you have about the therapy process or my approach. There is no obligation to book after the consultation.
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another. We'll discuss what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and what you hope to achieve through our work together.
We'll begin developing goals collaboratively and create a plan that feels tailored to your unique needs. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
The frequency of therapy depends on your goals, needs, and circumstances. Many clients begin by meeting weekly or biweekly to build momentum and consistency.
As therapy progresses and your goals evolve, we can adjust the frequency together to best support your ongoing growth.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients attend therapy for a few months to work through a specific concern, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper personal growth or ongoing support.
The length of therapy depends on your goals, the challenges you're facing, and the pace that feels right for you.
Yes. Your privacy is an essential part of therapy. Everything discussed in session is kept confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions. These include situations where there is concern about immediate risk of harm to yourself or someone else, suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person, or when records are required by law or court order.
I'll review confidentiality and its limits with you during our first session so you know what to expect.
Yes. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy for adolescents (14+) and adults.
